Flavor Buffet
Well, we are under two weeks away from Thanksgiving and I am pumped. It’s my favorite holiday because of how it brings family and friends together; and the food is just beyond. There is so much of it! 😮 However, before we get to the feast, let’s chill a minute. It’s time for the Buffet!
Have a great weekend!

Decorating the Thanksgiving table without fine china. It’s entirely possible; and joyfully modern.
A good question: what is the best oil to use for frying? Let’s see…
Oh hey, it’s me! I contributed to this article about food trends in the coming year. Take a look!
Cook
In preparation for Thanksgiving, I am leaning into all the bold flavors and cozy dishes. From now until April, right? 😏
Sesame Caesar Salad - yes, please!
Fall Weeknight Pasta - could also turn this into a salad, I’m convinced…
Porcini Mushroom Risotto - ultimate, and decadent, cold-night dinner.
And in case you need a showstopper appetizer, I recommend: Cheesy Artichoke Dip. Divine. Every. Time.
Dine
Legal Sea Foods - a renowned spot for delicious GF fried seafood. Much of the menu can be made gluten free!
Love At First Bite - one of our favorites for Thai food in the ‘burbs. GF items are clearly marked. I’m a fan of the mango curry and pad thai with shrimp. :)
Twist Bakery Café - this place is 100% gluten free and takes dietary restrictions incredibly seriously (all items are well-labeled). Save room for the sweets; the mini cheesecake and scones are divine!

The holidays are coming…
I shared on my Insta stories how much I’m loving petite-sizing for Madewell denim. If you’re on the shorter side, like me, then I must suggest you try them!
It’s cold out (here). I think stocking up on fleece is a fantastic way to handle the chill. I got this one at J.Crew recently and it’s the coziest to wear while watching (sleeping through) TV.
Holiday preview one: Aesop hand soap is luxurious and makes your hands feel incredible. Highly recommend it as a great gift this season!
Holiday preview two: these wool hats are adorable and made by an amazing woman-run company - all of their knitters are based in Lima, Peru. A perfect gift for family or friends that spend a lot of time outside during the coldest months of the year.
Enjoy!
