What a week it has been. But, it’s time for the Buffet and I still wanted to bring you a joyful collection of reads, recipes, and more. I hope you have a calm weekend.

Your February horoscope features Godiva Chocolates. You’re welcome.

A very interesting article all about how “food marketing language” works.

I love how Deb Perelman, of Smitten Kitchen, weaves charming, amusing stories throughout her recipes. Check out this one featuring my favorite cookie. And then make the cookies. Immediately.

Cook

Pretzel Focaccia - this looks delicious. I’m sure I can make it gluten free.

Seasoned Salmon with Warm Sushi Rice - this sounds so good for a quick weeknight. Just make sure to use Tamari instead of regular soy sauce.

Avocado Shrimp Quinoa Bowl - so many delicious flavors in this bowl. I love the “bowl” concept because it’s a great opportunity to put so many excellent flavors and ingredients all together. In a bowl. ;)

Dine

Twist Bakery Cafe - so thankful for this excellent shop. I love the ham and cheese pinwheels and cannot resist the breakfast sandwiches. Reminder: it’s 100% gluten free!

Border Cafe - Seth and I had our first date here way back in 2011! It’s easy dining and the unlimited tortilla chips are a thrill. Plenty of GF options available; I tried the enchiladas this week and really enjoyed them.

The Stones Common House and Kitchen - a local restaurant that offers numerous delicious dishes. Never skip the fries and always consider the veggie burger - it’s so good!

Shop

The February collection was recently announced from Cuyana and I love the new bags and colors.

Just a reminder that Tuckernuck has really cute clothes, accessories, and more. Plus, their free shipping is quite fast!

Continuing to be a fan of the Cle de Peau Beauté Radiant Corrector for Eyes. A splurge, but it lasts.

Enjoy!
